Shipping & returns
These terms apply to orders placed with Microfarads. Orders placed through a written quote follow the terms in that quote. Questions? Email sales@microfarads.com.
Minimum order
The minimum order is $75 (parts subtotal, before shipping and tax). Quoted orders follow the minimum stated in the quote.
Shipping
Shipping is added to your quote. Rates are flat per order.

Your UPS account: include your 6-character UPS account number and preferred UPS service in your quote request. UPS bills your account directly.
Other countries: request a quote and we will quote shipping.
When your order ships
In-stock orders are sent within 1 to 2 business days after payment (or as stated in your quote). If anything will take longer, we will email you first.
International duties and taxes
International buyers pay any import duties, taxes, VAT, or customs fees charged by their country. These aren't included in our prices or shipping.
Sales tax
We collect California sales tax on orders delivered to California addresses. Resellers with a valid California resale certificate: email it to us before ordering. Orders delivered outside California are not charged California sales tax.
Damaged, wrong or missing items
Email us within 5 business days of delivery with your order number and photos. If we made an error, we cover return shipping and there is no restocking fee.
Returns
- 15 days: request a return within 15 days of delivery.
- Ask first: email us for a return authorization before sending anything back.
- Condition: only unused parts can be returned; they must be unused, unsoldered, and in their original packaging.
- Restocking fee: 15%, unless we made an error.
- Return shipping: paid by you, unless we made an error.
- Refunds: to your original payment method within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the return.
